Ten Ramen is a unique and interesting place as they try to mimic the ways of the Japanese. It’s a small shop that is a spin off from the owner of the illustrious Tei-An in One Arts Plaza. Here you won’t find any take out bowls or even chairs for you to sit on. Instead all there is, is a table for you to eat at while standing up.
The menu itself is not too big as they only offer a few choices, but that is enough as all the choices you see are made with love and care. You can choose from Tokotsu, shoyu, spicy lobster miso, and more all of which are equally as good. Aside from the ramen, there are also a few rice bowls you can choose from and a starter which pairs equally well with the ramen.

We mentioned the sister shop to this restaurant earlier on this post which is Ten Ramen. Well here is the original that Ten Ramen is based off of. Here at Tei-An is one of the more pricier Japanese shops in the city of Dallas and is started by chef Teiichi Sakurai. It’s not actually a ramen shop per se like its sister counter part as this restaurant specializes in serving all Japanese cuisines. However it does have a section for ramen which is simply to die for.
On their menu you can only find 2 choices for ramen. One being the Tonkotsu Ramen and the other being Pork Belly and Garlic Chives Ramen. But I guarantee you that once you try out these two ramens, your life will be completely changed forever. The level of taste and flavor from these bowls are literally out of this world.

Jinya Ramen Bar
Jinya was actually the brainchild by founder Tomonori Takahashi. He first opened up the first Jinya back in Tokyo in 2000. When he came to the USA in 2010, he saw the need for authentic ramen which is why he opened up his next location in California. From there it started growing to be one of the bigger ramen chains in the USA, with multiple locations all around.
They pride themselves in that they believe that the ramen isn’t about the noodles but actually the broth. Here you’ll be able to find 12 different ramen choices ranging from Chicken, Tonkotsu and even Vegetable. My favorite being their recommended Spicy Chicken Ramen which is simply delicious.
They even have a happy hour time where when you come in anytime from 3pm to 6:30pm every day, you’ll be able to get things like buns, small plates, cocktails and more for a very affordable price.
Location: 625 High Market St Ste 185 Dallas, TX 75219
20 Feet Seafood Joint
20 Feet Seafood Joint is mostly known for their delicious seafood like lobster rolls, clam chowders, oysters and more. However what many don’t know is that they also have a selection for ramen. It’s true! They only have 1 ramen dish for you to choose from but I am telling you that it is all they need as that bowl is simply delicious.
The ramen they serve here is called the Pork Ramen Noodles which are cooked to perfection. The pork is tender and soft while the ramen is perfectly al dente. It is literally perfect.
So if you ever get a chance to visit here, why not get a bowl of ramen with your seafood as you will definitely enjoy it.

Woodshed Smokehouse is another place you wouldn’t really think off when you are craving ramen as they are primarily a smokehouse with lots of meat. However inside their menu, you’ll be able to find one selection which says ramen!
And that ramen is absolutely delicious as it is filled with pulled pork, carrots, bell peppers, chiles, and a poached quail egg. It is a dish you can definitely be proud of when eating it with a smile. And when you are done with the ramen, why not order a burger or some ribs to satisfy your meat cravings.
Either way, you can’t go wrong with anything at this place.
